Cheer Camp- Day 4

ONE MORE DAY LEFT!!!
Thank the Lord because my body may not be able to handle anymore of this craziness. And I am so ready to see...

LYZ MOAK!!!!!!

How many blogs can I write about this girl?

But I am also sad because for the next two weeks after tomorrow I won't be able to see my new bff, Emily Mason!

SHOUT OUT!! I have had so much fun getting to know her. We have shared so many stories, laughs, and whatever else girls might talk. But I am excited because in a week and a half, we will be reunited and get to spend another we together at
MIDDLE SCHOOL CAMP!!!!!!!!!
Yeah us!!

But I CAN NOT STAND THIS INTERNET HERE!!!!! It never works and it takes forever get back up! Arg!!

It's kinda making me mad/angry/annoyed? Really Kelley, it's just the internet.

I am so tired all I really want to do is take a nap so I have my head laying on the bed with my eyes shut... lets how that I don't fall asleep doing this.

I love listening to music. I have been doing that this whole break with Emily! WooHoo!! We are so exciting. I know you want to be here with us, not doing anything but sitting (or laying.) and singing along with some tunes. You're jealous, I know. :)

Today at mascot camp we didn't do anything much different from yesterday. Did our 3rd evaluation, worked on our mascot skit, and just messed around. What do you expect we are mascots?

Tonight is the Club UCA Grind Fest. I don't really enjoy this part about camp because I'm not really the dancing type so I'll go make an appearance but then I'll want to come back so that I can enjoy my pepperoni pizza. YEAH!!!!

Cheer Camp- Day 3

O my goodness, half way through!! WOOHOO!!!

2 days till LYZ MOAK and me see each other's faces!!

Just got back from lunch after a pretty eventful morning of running around in mascot attire and what not. But at lunch, me and a few of the other varsity girls were talking about how crazy this would be our last cheer camp. And I had to agree with them because I have been also going with them to cheer camp since my freshman year and what am I going to do next summer without all the 15 or something schools yelling their school name trying to get the attention of the 15ish UCA staff members? I think I'll live though. : )

This morning was super exciting, you know, waking up at 7 and all. *SIDE NOTE: I hate waking up in the morning, like super, super dislike {aka HATE}* Anyways, after waking up and realizing I had more time than I thought, I got my stuff together and went down stairs to head over for my first day full day of camp! YAHOO! Anyone else getting pumped and excited yet? So we walk in and I just head straight to the mascot cage, zoo, room, area, or any other name you might want to call it. We had our first evaluation this morning. Once everyone got dressed we played a game about motions and making our movements large and big and "popping the bubble."
Then we took a cool down break, and let me tell you when this finished, I thought I was going to DIE!!!! I was so tired, out-of-breath, and done and then they told us in we had 2 minutes and we were then going to go out for our first evaluation. O brother…. Are you sure? I might pass out or throw up. But it was much easier than the constant moving game that we had played. And I definitely enjoy messing with the random people around the campus of Texas A&M. Their expressions are priceless and hilarious! So funny!!

In a few minutes, we'll be heading back over and doing a skit. And working more on our line dance and our Mascot Follies!!! WOOHOO!!! *Mascot Follies are what we do on the last day when all the 'rents, friends, coaches, and cheerleaders are watching. Yeah, yeah all eyes on me! Tonight, after dinner we have our 2nd evaluation too. I know you wish you were here with me but you just need to imagine and then you probably will want to go back to whatever you were doing because you will feel sweat and heat. And supposedly that is gross? WHAT?!? O well.

Hope your having an EXCELLENT day!!!!

Peace and love.

Cheer Camp- Day 2

I finally got to sleep in today!! Praise Jesus. I have been in deep need of sleep and I am so thankful for the 12 ( YES, TWELVE hours of sleep) last night.

Today has been a pretty great day. Woke up, ate some food, put my clothes on, had a team meeting, danced with cheerleaders, went to the mascot zoo, met all the mascots, played some games, came back to dorm to eat lunch/dinner (4:30, what is that meal?), then came back to my room and just have been lounging. Nothing super exciting but I have still had a pretty great day.

I got to meet 23 (including myself) of my new bestest friends for the next week. That is how many mascots are at camp. They all seem pretty nice.

I'm feeling a bit tired but isn't that what is expected being hot, in the sun, and moving around during the day. I think so.

I AM SUPER EXCITED *Hints the caps lock* BECAUSE IN 3 ½ DAYS I GET TO SEE MY BESTEST FRIEND IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!!!!!! I haven't seen her since December and I am so ready!!! (It was really January but December just makes it more exciting, right?) So on Friday, I will be a super happy person and be smiling from ear to ear because my face

And her face

Will be together again!!!!

I hope these pictures show up. Because on the last blog, there was suppose to be a picture of us but.. IT DIDN'T SHOW! :( Not very happy.

Anyways, we have more to do tonight and I have no idea what it is. But I should probably use the restroom, put my shoes on and do my hair. Sound exciting? Because it is!!! :)

Peace and love and talk to you later!

Day 1- Cheer Camp

So as I sit on this bus (really needing to use the restroom but am definitely not going to use the one on this bus), I pray that I have a great week at cheer/mascot camp. Today, starts the beginning of my senior year in high school because after doing this for the last four years, it's crazy to think that this will be my last camp being mascot and that after this year I will be a 'grown-up' in the 'big world' because I will be going to college.

But on to the more fun things. I am super excited about this week because I do love the mascot part of cheer camp. I love getting to know other mascots and picking their brains for new ideas for skits and props. I can't say that I love the cheer part just because I am not a cheerleader (and I never will be).

I am also really excited because at the end of this week (on Friday), I will get to see my best friend in the whole wide world LYZ MOAK!!!!

YEAH!!!!!! And that just makes me really super excited!

This past week has been super eventful though. We started summer KidsClub. And it was tons of fun! I love summer kids club because 1. Its summer. 2. The kids just seem to be more relaxed *sometimes* 3. I get to be less strict which who doesn't love.

I think my favorite thing so far was when one of the more difficult kids told me that he wished that I was his teacher because I just seemed like a lot of fun and that made me really happy because not a lot of the difficult kids like me because you have to be harder on them. But that just made my week!!

At night, Lindsey, Peter and me hung out quite a bit. We swam at my house and also went to glow bowl. Had bunches of fun. But I'm going to need to learn how to time manage because early morning work hours and late nights with friends, makes one very tired Kelley which everyone can vouch for me that I am not a fun person to be with when I am tired.

I still really need to go to that bathroom.

O, I haven't uploaded the picture yet but this past week has been really hot and gross outside. And in my car, I keep germ-x bottles. Well, I went to go apply some and much to my surprise, my bottle had blown-up. Not literally but the bottle looked like a coke can that someone had put in the freezer so it had expanded more than exploded. I guess… (I can't think of the word)

On Saturday, I had morning practice for mascot camp, which the mascots did nothing like normal, but I had to be up at 9 in the morning and I was really hoping to sleep in but I couldn't which really stunk.

We just stopped on the side of a two-lane road. And we are in a bus… for I don't know why and I don't think that this is safe.

And because we stopped I could not hold it anymore and just used the restroom. It wasn't terrible.

*By the way, I wrote this on the way to cheer camp and posted it once we got there*

I forgot...

Opps. I forgot that I had this thing. Well, I didn't forget I just didn't make time.

I keep meaning to update this thing but I get distracted and forget. I have started alot of post but just started them or started writing them and just forgot about them... as I said opps.

So this post is going to be a picture post of a few things I have done the past few weeks.

I cleaned and rearranged my room:

Before

After
Not gonna lie I did any awesome job. Even though at the moment my room looks like a complete and total disaster. Opps.

It was DJ HANS SPIN aka Jake my brother's birthday.
We went to Texas Road House to celebrate the momentous 21 birthday!!

His girlfriend Nicki came too!

I had a super exciting Cheer Bonding Day. One Tuesday. I even got to miss school all day!! WooHoo!!

The whole group! SENIORS 2011!!!
( OOO-vation)

Me frozen at the top of the 35 foot pole. I think I was trying to act like my dad or somthing.
I was kinda ridiculously scared!

I even got to climb a rock wall and zip-line. So much fun!!!!
Such hard work too!

On Wednesday night, at church, we had this super sweet lady from our church come and talk to our 7th and 8th grade Acteens. She is so sweet and she is (has) turned 91. So here is a few pictures from that night-

And then this past Sunday, during church, I was being a distraction to my pops so I started making a Summer To-Do List and here it is...

Have a great day! Don't forget to smile!

Terrific Tuesday

Terrific Tuesday... I'm not sure that is the best phrase for the day.

Today has been quite a long day. It started out when I woke up and realized that today was bible study day... and I was starting it out late. But as the day went on, I just felt that I was super tired. It may have been the 6ish hours of sleep I got last night. Hmm... maybe I should work on that.

Work was SUPER long... I can definitely tell that it is almost summer because almost, just about everybody does not want to be there, and I think that includes the teachers. We all want summer to be here so life can be a bit less stressful. There is only 23 days left of school!!!!!!! YAHOO!!!!!!

I finished the picture of the staff at work to:

I even colored it!!! It looks so cute.. at least I think so! :) {This is what I do at school when I'm bored.}

I've decided to start making a list of things that I want for my birthday or even just for fun:

The item that I want the most is

Sorry it is a bit blurry, but I bet you guys can tell what it is.
AN APPLE ITOUCH!!!!
I want one real bad. I could only wish.

1.

I really like this tv. I need a new dvd player and I have an old crappy tv so this tv/dvd combo would be PERFECT!!!

2.
I always want Wii games. I especially like the work out games and active moving games because then I feel like I'm getting a workout. :) and who doesn't love that.

2.
I need money for Summer Camp. Last year, I paid for all my camps and activities that I did. This year I think that story is going to be different. I kinda haven't been using my money wisely and definitely have not been saving it.

4.
I really want to go and get a massage. I have gotten one before and I loved it!!! I really think it would be a GREAT thing to get before summer gets here. I think it would be a great relaxer before everything get kicked off for the summer, maybe I should have done this a long time ago.....

5.

I really want to get acrylic nails. I have gotten them before and I hated them so I really have no idea why I have the desire to get them again.... I have a weird and crazy mind.

6.
Another thing that I was super close to getting a few weeks ago while I was in San Diego, I almost bought these shoes called Chacos. They are a super comfortable but not so cute. I think that they would be great for my Summer Kids Club and Summer Camps that I will be going on.

7.

I love giving presents but I always seem to be short on the cash to give them so I wish I had the power to just get the presents without spending money on them. If only that would happen.

8.
And who wouldn't want a tree of money?!?! I know I would love one... but I want one with 100 dollar bills not just 1 dollar bills, or a mix of all of the bills.

O What A Day!!

It has been a long day... WHEW!! I'm am so glad that I made it through.

I woke up after a great nights sleep which I most definitely did not want to get up... and got ready for the day which took a hole 20ish minutes.. YAHOO! I know I'm amazing! The night before I meant to make my really incredible lunch but oppies, I didn't. SO I also had to make my really yummy (which was actually really not that good) turkey and cheese sandwich *the turkey was GROSS!!! It felt like the Gulf Coast is probably feeling which is all grease and oily.... nasty!* I also had some yummy sour cream and onion chips, pineapple cup, carrots and dip, and chips a'hoy cookies. All in all.. pretty tasty lunch and I can't forget the really awesome snack of goldfish and grapes for work.... YUMMY!!!! :) Gotta love 'em.

After spending to long on making my lunch, I decided that it was past time for me to leave so I got all my stuff and heading to the car to get on my exciting day of school and work (just like every other day of the work week, aka Monday thru Friday) I knew I wasn't running to far behind schedule when I saw the kids at the bus stop still waiting for the bus. And by the way, you know you leave to early when this happens but if you want a good parking spot at the crazy jail I mean school I go to then this procedure is a MUST!

On my exciting way to these amazing places I realized that today was the day they would be starting the construction at my high school for the new auditorium and what ever else they are building there. Which made me remember that my normal parking spots that I park in would 'no longer be available' Hmmm.... DANG IT!!! Where am I going to go?

When I arrived, I was presently surprised to see that these parking lots had not been touched at all. But me being the good person that I am decided I was going to practice not parking in this area because of two reasons. Reason one: I need to try to find a different parking spot so when I  want to be able to run out of school at 2:30 I will still have my easy exit strategy. and Reason two: I was afraid of getting one of those big stupid orange sticker (which I need to take a picture of one) or getting my car towed away, since I would be needing it at 2:30 for my escape. But I did find a good parking spot right in front of F-hall which is where I come leaping out of school at on A-days. SO Yepee!!!

School was as normal as normal gets. 1st period History: We watched the movie A League of Their Own. Pretty good movie. It was entertaining and it was super nice to just relax. 2nd period Physics: I don't really remember what I did. I know at the beginning of class we watched a Bill Nye movie but during that I did my Bible Study and after the movie we had a lab but Crystal did it. I started my drawling of the Anderson staff which let me tell you is pretty AMAZING!!!
Here it is below:

I'm not done with it yet but its looking good. I'm the 2nd one from the left... bahahaha. I 'm the shortest one.. Surprise Surprise.

After lunch was finish and by the way it was pretty good beside the slimy oil sandwich... YUCK!, it was time for 3rd period Child Development: We had more notes and a video... BORING!!! So more drawling for me... I have decided I really enjoy doodling at school, especially people. 4th period English: A bit more exciting. New vocabulary words. Got new assignment but we won't start even looking at it till next class. New notes from book. And worked on Grapes of Wrath some more.

After dashing out the school building, sprinting to my car, which by the way: new parking spot.... LOVE IT!!! Most definitely a keeper, if I can get it. I drove myself through Chicken Express for $1.25 of a little glass of happyness (I know its with an i but I just loved the Pursuit of Happyness with Will Smith.) and made my merry way on to work.......... which by the way was CRAZY today. The weather is a changing. And I can most definitely tell because all the kids are going nuts. They and me and the rest of the staff are so ready for summer that it truly isn't even funny. We are all on top of each others toes that my little slice of happyness was not really keeping me super de duper happy. I did enjoy my homework group today because I let them work on the two puzzles we had going for the whole 45ish minutes. And it was awesome. They all worked so hard to try and finish it but even though they were both only 100 pieces, it was still no luck on finishing... Better luck next Monday! There was a big storm blowing in so we had to take the kiddo to the gym and let me just tell you I much rather go outside in the fresh air then keep those kids cooped up in a gym.. and it wasn't even raining yet.... GRRR..... o well. We had fun playing What time is it Mr. Wolf, Kickball *which I will never play with younger kids again because they had no idea what they were doing, and Zombie tag... I think we player another game to but I can't remember. It was fun to watch them get it the games, even kickball which they had no idea what to do.

Then it was time to go back to the cafeteria and get the older kids to go to the gym. But when we got there, the storm was about to start so we were instructed to keep all the kids in the same area. Area of choice- Cafeteria. Which was okay because I got to clean the office... and I wish I would have taken a before and after photo of the office because let me toot my own horn I did an amazing job... at least I think I did. It looks so nice and picked up. Clean would not be the right term because only God knows what the stains on that floor are... and they are GROSS! Anyways, thats what I did the rest of work which was actually really hard work. But I definitely enjoyed doing it.

As I left work and it was beginning to rain, I remember I needed gas. So I drove myself over to Kroger even though I knew had at least a day and a half left I didn't want to chance anything because who knows what my schedule holds for this next week. So I went and filled up and drove through the bank and go some cash, since I had NONE! o no... and then I drove on home.
When I walked through the door I came home to the tv on Channel 8 DANCING WITH THE STARS and my dad the only one watching... Which I find kinda amusing. He loves this show. He loves trying to figure out what the judges are going to give them and even though we have no dancing skill *and I mean literal skill not fun skill* in our blood, he normally get most of the numbers right. GOOD JOB DAD!! We watched that while we ate Taco Soup and cornbread!! YUMMY!! THANKS MOM!!

Now I haven't really done anything since I got home but sit here and play on the computer because I am super lazy when I get home and I don't want to do ANYTHING... and when I say that I mean I literally just want to sit and do nothing. O well...

Side note- Yesterday I washed my car... for 4 hours!! I think I'm showing my shortness. But anyways, my back got sunburned and it is kinda really sore today.. I'm hoping that this feeling goes away soon. Not so fun.
Sunburn back:

This picture does no justice.

I also painted my nails a really pretty purple last night.

This picture does not show it as well either. It a dark purple with a nice shimmer to it. Next color.. ORANGE. I think I may do that tomorrow night. :)

Now that I have bored you to death with really exciting stories of my really exciting life. I'm gonna go. Hopefully I can get tomorrow to be a less eventful day. But there are no guarantees.

So if you ever feel like your week is super busy. I feel ya... And I'm right there with ya!! :)

Need A Place...

I have so many random thoughts, recipes, ideas, list, music genres, okay the last one doesn't really count but so many things go through my head during a day that I just need a place to put them all down. I finally decided that this little blog would be the perfect place to write and release all of these thoughts that I have. I decided I can post how ever many times a day or night that I need until all of these thoughts that are flying through my head are written down. I just hope I can remember them to put them down before I forget.. I seem to do that ALOT!!! Opps! :) So off we go down the yellow brick road to the Blogging World... O how execiting!!! :D

My excitement about starting a blog:

My mom's excitement about me starting a blog:

My dad's excitement about me starting a blog:

So I bet you can guess that is not really them or me excited about starting a blog but super excited about going to San Diego!!!! Yes indeed more to come about that a little later!! =D
